About Aicon Gallery

Aicon Gallery is the first and only U.S.-based online gallery for Indian contemporary art. In addition, we have two galleries, one in New York City, and another in Palo Alto, CA, which regularly feature shows for well-known and emerging artists. We currently represent over one hundred Indian artists, all of whom have earned national and international recognition in the form of awards, fellowships, and exhibitions, and have passed a rigorous screening by an august jury of art historians, critics, professors, and other artists.

Aicon Gallery arose from the conviction that the best of Indian art compares favorably with the very best in the better-known American and European art world. However, much of this art remains unseen in the West, and as a result, remains greatly undervalued. We aim to creatively use the New York and Palo Alto galleries, combined with our presence on the Internet, to generate a global audience.
