Barbara Mathes Gallery was founded in 1978 and specializes in paintings, sculpture, and works on paper by modern and contemporary masters. Today the gallery is located in a townhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, around the corner from The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The space provides an intimate setting for viewing a wide range of work from the twentieth century.
