About Didier Aaron

Part of a network of galleries which includes Didier Aaron et Cie in Paris and Didier Aaron Ltd. in London, Didier Aaron, Inc. serves a client list which includes the world’s foremost museums and international collectors. Continuing a rich legacy of several generations of “antiquaires,” the New York gallery was founded in 1977 by Hervé Aaron. The collection presented spans national schools and period styles, as the houses of Didier Aaron have always been distinguished by both their quality and eclecticism. The gallery contains predominantly French paintings and drawings from the seventeenth through nineteenth centuries and European furniture and decorative arts from the eighteenth through nineteenth centuries, along with a selection of other pieces. Housed in an Upper East Side townhouse, Didier Aaron, Inc. is equipped with an expert staff along with extensive and unique resources. We undertake insurance and estate valuations, and offer an advisory service to clients who wish to explore purchase at auction.
